The East African Association for Palaeoanthropology and Palaeontology Secretariat is pleased to announce its third conference to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 8^th-12^th August, 2011. The conference is organized by the secretariat of the EAAPP in coordination with the Authority for Research and Conservation of Cultural Heritage (ARCCH) of the Ethiopian Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

Addis Ababa is the seat of the African Union and the UN's Economic Commission for Africa, and with more embassies than New York, is often described as the diplomatic capital of Africa.
